www.metaltalk.net/columns2016/201623448.phpAnd I quote from the article above " Let's not kid ourselves, though, as Parfitt was definitely missed when it came to the music. For set opener 'Caroline', usually Parfitt's powering the song up with that famous guitar riff during the intro, but Malone was more of a Fiat 500 compared to the Ferrari powerhouse of Rick" " it's a shame that the band seem to be going out on a whimper and not the bang that they truly deserve after all they've achieved in their hugely successful career" CORRECT ON BOTH OF THE ABOVE Now thats a much more realistic review Yes to the first quote above - although Richie will have got his reasons for holding back... Not sure about the "going out on a whimper" statement, considering that many, many fans thought the recent gigs were terrific. Yes to the thought that they deserve to go out on a bang. But maybe that's next to impossible now anyway...? No to your last statement, Ive. It's a review, just like the ones we have posted on here. It's a personal review of how one fan perceived the gig. Nothing more, nothing less. The bands career is going out on a whimper (with the acoustic gigs) as opposed to a bang once these electric gigs finally stop.

You obviously have an agenda so maybe you weren't the right person to review the gig, Richie does what he does, he's not Rick and isn't trying to be, he does a decent job in the songs.

I don't "obviously" have an agenda of any kind. I have listened to like the acoustic stuff and the first album and tour were good (but not great I'm my view), and I'd rather the band went out in an electric blade of glory as opposed to going out on a whimper with three acoustic gigs. Not sure why you seem to think I've got an agenda against Richie -I've not been negative towards his place in the band. Did you even read the review?
