What a wonderful report once again, Inna, thanks for that ! If it were just another tour I'd enjoy reading it, think 'fantastic !' and look very much forward to Tuesday. But it isn't .. The finality of it all has started to sink in with me too - and I'm dreading it. There's so much I want to do and all at the same time: rock out for the last time, take it all in and don't miss a thing, preserve the memory for the rest of my life .. (how that sounds ..) - guess I'll have to wait till after the gig to know what I really feel. And yes, it must be hell for Rick - guess that's why he's trying to emotionally distance himself from it all as much as possible - and there's nothing anybody can do about it. Maybe they can convince him to come to Liverpool gig (or the O2) and get up on stage at the end one last time, so he too gets the cheers and goodbyes he deserves .. just an idea.

Great report Inna, thanks for taking the time to write this You do know that there'll be some that will be irked that you had the audacity to enjoy yourself, don't you? You raise something that I've been thinking about for a while too and that is how Rick must be feeling about this. Only guessing of course but I'd imagine he must be hurt (extremely?) that all this is continuing and apparently going well without him. Obviously, anyone on this board that goes to see the band on this tour will be like you and notice Rick's absence and miss him but will "the floating fan" notice that someone is missing? Probably not? He must be sitting at home thinking I should be there. As for the playing of "his" songs, I know what you mean there too. Of the three that you mention, would anyone miss CUOY? How many fans go and are thinking, "I hope they play CUOY" tonight? None? However, the audience that the band generally cater for these days come to hear the greatest hits and I suppose Rain and WYW are very much part of that. I suppose. Since '86, Quo have been about Francis and Rick for me and I think I'd struggle a little seeing the band if either was missing. Again, thanks for posting. It really sounds as if it was a brilliant night.

You do know that there'll be some that will be irked that you had the audacity to enjoy yourself, don't you? If that was aimed at me, which I think it was, all I can say to that (apart from you really must try harder!) Delusional. And a tad paranoid.

If that was aimed at me, which I think it was, all I can say to that (apart from you really must try harder!) is that whilst I accept that some still deem the farce that's left as Status Quo, (FRQ in reality) I (and many others) don't Personally I'm happy that Inna enjoyed and said bye bye in her own way. I'm convinced it was mainly aimed at those putting down CQ and everything that's not FF. You're not that important to exclusively aim it at you . And I agree, I'm happy too, that Inna was able to enjoy the gig and say goodbye to the band this way, albeit a little sad it was without Rick.
