Love it, think it's a great "live" song.
Not so keen on the choreography though. It was novel the first time but I think they milked it a bit after that. Especially the fact that they tried to make it look as if it was off the cuff too. Also, not a fan of the Leon at the front of the stage with his drum and band either.
I think it's a great song on it's own right and doesn't need any gimmicks to enhance it.

Never really liked the song and I certainly don't like the stage prancing that comes with it

I like the Dog Of Two Head version and the one on The Roll Over Lay Down EP the most by far.

OK song, something different live, but I like it the most when they simply play it (and no playing each other's guitar or Leon's mini kit..).

One of these songs that I've always liked since the early days. I first heard it when my mum bought me the In My Chair single and I remember thinking at the time that it was a bit weird. But I still liked it. Of course, that was a completely different version to the Dog Of Two Head recording, which came as a bit of a surprise to this teenager about 3 years later Never really got the full "Manston and James" story, did we?

We only got the who and not the why (as far as I'm aware). My guess would be they chose the pseudonym, because it sounded so different and they didn't want to upset the few fans they had gained by then. Or it had to do with royalties, although I'd not know how ?

I've read or heard something from Bob just recently (I think it might be an interview that is linked from his website) giving a bit more info on the alias (can't spell pseudonym!) thing. I think he hints that they were trying to be a bit 'cute' - maybe royalties or something?

When I first got into Quo as a boy I never really liked this one. Though I would play it as it was easier than trying to fast forward my cassette tape. (All I had in those days). Then when I was a teenager I got to liking it because of the lyrics this poor boy never had a GF at School or for a long time afterwards . Of course I go and marry a woman called Caroline though don't I.
