Another one by Billy Connolly - this is very politically incorrect.

For Mortified: SAHB - Delilah Magnificent. Wonderful. Honestly. I've never seen that footage before and I'm sitting here chuckling whilst at the same time enjoying the music. A weird combination! Ta for that

Deep Purple are back with a cover of Fleetwood Mac's Oh, Well. A great video but I'm not 100% sold on this version of the song. A little too much 'shredding' for my tastes.

I came across this whilst looking for something else on You Tube.
Faces - Behind the Sun. An outtake, but I don't know where from. Quite bluesy.

It's a bonus unreleased track from a compilation that came out a few years back. Really good stuff this I liked Faces back in the day. Certainly much more than I ever liked Rod as a solo artist.

My nomination for greatest Seattle grunge song of all time.
Kindly forget the anti-rockstar message of the song ("Name your God and bleed the freak/I'd like to see how you all would bleed for me"), or not, just listen to the chord changes. I've honestly never heard a song featuring such massive chord changes.
So, here ya go. my nomination for greatest Seattle grunge song of all time:

Faces stuff stands up pretty well after all these years.

Yeah, it's good that. The album title hints at a glam rock homage and this track certainly goes there in buckets. And 70's rock in general. The riff and general feel actually reminds me a little of UFO's The Wild, The Willing And The Innocent. Once it gets to the verses that is. A Def Leppard renaissance is on the cards here. For me anyway because I've blissfully ignored them for a while

If this is a good representation of the album then I’m definitely gonna get it.

This one came to mind for me, which I think has a very Gary Glitter feel. youtu.be/bpNw7jYkbVcAll the same really innit 🙂

Another one I really like as it happens. And the Glitter Band springs to mind right enough. It's funny. When I say of more modern music "it all sounds the same" (like my dad 45 years ago ) I don't mind if it all sounds the same as this. I think it's called hypocrisy
