Yup I openly admit I like this one, even with Rhino on lead, its that riff that really gets me, I dont take much notice of the vocals

Nicked off Sesame Street but i agree it's an absolute belter. IMO Rhino has written most of the best stuff in recent years.

i agree it's an absolute belter. IMO Rhino has written most of the best stuff in recent years. It is indeed a belter thats for sure, and yeah I agree, and have actually said many times over the years that Rhino has written, or co written most of the best Quo material in recent years

I'm not able to ignore the vocals and lyrics and can't stand the song. It lacks the melodic side too, that always made Quo's rock songs so special (same goes for Gravy Train).

I always saw it as a pastiche and/or a parody. The riff is a great old fashioned shuffle to an extent and the lyrics make fun of all those 70's and 80's rock bands who used to declare they were born under a "baaad" sign. But pastiche or not, it has a great groove to it. The Woodedz demo I think is better. More straightforward production wise. No knob twiddling - if you pardon the pun. Parodies are great if done properly. And this is up there with Status Quid's Boring Song. The best pastiche ever!

Love this song, the only fault I can possibly find with it is that it perhaps resembles ROLD in its overall structure a bit much.

Really fabulous track. Prefer this to quite a few of Quo's rock tracks from the 'golden years'.
BIG Quo mistake (imo): not to play it live. It was a perfect opportunity to not only rock out a belter, to offer Rhino some more than well earned time in the Quo limelight, but also add a 3rd live solo singer to Quo's lineup once more. Alan was sorely missed in that department especially - it was that (and nostalgia) which gave the FF a big advantage over any other lineup I think. Rhino must have been extremely miffed to not have been given the nod.

Love it, would be nice if the played it live on the winter tour to take the heat off Franny.

I usually like songs that Rhino has penned but I'm not a fan of this one though. Just don't like it I'm afraid.
