Yes, Accept no substitute. Its took since last November to reach 60k. Steady sales considering its another compilation which most people already have!

That's what I thought. I remember it charting rather lowly and to despite that still sell steadily to reach silver must be a pleasant surprise for the band. Or maybe not .. I guess it's mostly down to unimaginative friends and family of Quo fans searching for a fitting (birthday) present and to collectors and they must've counted on both.

Quo have already released far too many GH collections, I realise that this isnt down to the band but the record companies Why does it matter how many Greatest Hits / Best Ofs they have released? There always new stuff to add, and I'm sure a new GH will increase sales (for the reasons Snakelady mentioned). No-one loses out.

I guess it's mostly down to unimaginative friends and family of Quo fans searching for a fitting (birthday) present and to collectors and they must've counted on both. I am one of those people! I'm not a collector (as such) or a completist, I'll only buy it if I want it. Obviously I have everything that is on Accept No Substitue (ANS) and I didn't buy it when it came out as I wasn't interested......but Asda (Walmart?) are selling it for £5 so I bought it last week! I was never going to pay £10 or £12 for it! I didn't buy Rocking All Over the Years when that came out, I bought it 20 years later really cheap on Amazon to leave in a mini-bus that I drive occasionally. 60k doesn't sound like a lot of units, maybe they've saturated the GH market! No wonder touring is the way to make money these days!
