Enjoyed that. Yet again, Quo wow the crowd. A jolly good set on the whole. Quo live on and on and on again.

For anyone who hasn't seen it Thanks, Ann, appreciated ! Again impressive how they get a non-Quo audience going, as that's what it was, otherwise they'd have known the PP lyrics ..

Claudie. What a class, class, CLASS song. One of Quo's best ever, and it translates into aquostic live at Hyde Park very well. Followed by the (terrible) That's A Fact Yep, Claudie is simply beautiful  - but That's A Fact ain't too bad either (I just have to get used to the strings in it ..)

Claudie at the Roundhouse & The Royal Albert Hall, was one of my favourite tracks with the lush string section in the middle

Somehow that's been the case for quite some time with Quo: They go down extremely well with non-Quo audiences. And with record sales more or less negligible in this day and age maybe that's why the set doesn't cater for the fans anymore, but for them. It is mainly made up of hits - whether it's electric or acoustic. And no, I don't expect Rick to be back either and not only for next summer, but for this winter tour too. I'm starting to suspect he's far worse healthwise than suspected at first. I can't help see parallels with Michael Schumacher, where we got updates as long as there were improvements to update about and then not anymore. At least Rick is better off than him .. Whatever the consequences for the winter tour ?? Without Rick it just won't be what it's sold as .. I think Dennis doesn't expect Rick to be there for any Proms in the Park type events. And re: Rick, I wouldn't draw any comparisons between Michael Schumacher and Rick. I think it's tragic that we the fans don't get any updates regarding Rick's health, but as long as Junior is tweeting along, I take it everything is more or less alright and Rick simply needs more time to recuperate. I'm also doubtful whether he'll be back at all.
