The last time I played that great track indoors a neighbour knocked on my door. I got totally carried away with the volume. Its fabulous full pelt rock and roll

A superb song, no doubt about that! That spine tingling intro gets me every time!

I consider this one the last great song they released, Still, that was only 36 years ago - anything could happen in the next 36 years!

One of my fave ever. Magnificent harmonica throughout. By golly the wider public sure have missed out on some bloody good music.

Looks like I'm going against the grain here, but I neither like the album (the first in a long row of weak 80s albums) nor the song.

Gotta say Snakelady, I think you are the 1st person I have ever heard state that JS & NTL arent great albums, agree about 1+9+8+2 though

I thought Just Supposin' was the best studio album since Blue For You, but felt Never Too Late sounded very much like the leftovers it apparently was - I haven't heard anything subsequently released that was as good though.

Totally agree. It wasn't until I started frequenting message boards that I realised that Never Too Late was held in such high regard. As for Coming And Going, it's a blistering track. Probably just me but I think it should have closed the album rather than the limp Rock And Roll.

I think Just Supposin' is a bright album, and Never Too Late is a dark album. I'm on the darker side of life!!
