Just listened to this on my spotify playlist and after all these years I've gone from thinking it's ok to loving it. Still not the best choice of a single though.

Think it's got a great groove/riff and I'd kind of forgotten about this one but just gave it a listen. The appearance on the Les Dawson show to promote it still makes me cringe though

I never 'got' this song. And I certainly never understood why it was released as a single! Was it Quo trying to be more bluesy or heavy? I'm not sure, because that wasn't the direcvtion they were going in at that time, and that wasn't in keeping with the rest of the Perfect Remedy album.

I've only recently given Perfect Remedy a listen and admit I was positively surprised by the sound of it. I still don't like many songs including the TPOR studio version (live is OK), but it sounded much better than Thirsty Work, which IMO is beyond salvation. Not At All isn't too bad - I didn't skip it, but yep agree, a strange choice for a single.

It's an OK track. One we might have found as a b-side 10 or 15 years before. It's all a bit languid. At least I think that's the word. Mind you, so is something like Umleitung I suppose so maybe I'm choosing the wrong description. Perfect Remedy wasn't a great album. Or rather it wasn't a great Quo album. Too many 'middle of the road' tracks on it although you could say it was diverse what with Man Overboard, Heart On Hold and 1000 Years on it. Not At All was an odd choice of single and it probably rightly bombed. The title track would have been more successful and would undoubtedly have promoted the album to a greater degree. Although, in retrospect, maybe it was better keeping this one quiet

I have always liked this one, a slow bluesy feel to it, one of only 2 highlights off a truly dire album

Never heard of it. When was that released then ? Its taken off the Perfect remedy album, which I believe was the 2nd album they released after reforming.

But to a Quo fan brought up on the classic era, they are a weak imitation of the real thing.

one of the "happy Quo"- tunes like Jam Side Down, Lies, ILR&R, GTYTLM, aso. Part of Quo's identity.

If this were included on a "Peter Andre/Daniel O'Donnell/Rod, Jane and Freddy/Status Quo" compilation album, it'd be the skip track. Utterly awful.

Steady track, but not for single. I would have liked "The Way I Am." as a single.
