Sorry for delay, but I will keep this to the point.
Don't want it turning into a diary eh.
Took all our staff and their wives, partners and a couple of friends, our sons and daughter in laws. Hired in a coach, crap driver, didn't know the way. ???
23 of us. There were a few people short, other things going on, but all our staff came, so cuffed with that.
Met in our local ,then off we went, we made a little picnic for each person.
Arrived, a bit of a walk to the area, but a nice walk, got a big garden, don't think the Model would like mowing that.
Told by our entourage that we would not be allowed to buy a drink all night, nice thought of them all.
Met Richard from Holland and a few of his pals, nice people
Down the front, took a few with us, and the others watched from wherever they wanted.
Small crowd, but a noisey one.
On came our 5 bandeleros and bang Caroline gets us up and running.
When Francis first came on, he had his hands up to his eyes like binoculars. Strange sense of humour, but the ones that had turned up, were hell bent on
having a good time.
You know the set. But I will say it was executed with passion. It just seems they whack it up a gear and you feel it's just for you . Well I know what I mean.
As a few have said Rick has lost weight, and I am not gonna mention that again.
One of the ladies said to me, he's a bit of ok pointing to one of our members on stage. No not his member, our member, dirty buggers.
"what's his name", I told her, but I am not saying, and her a vicars daughter and married less than a year.
Must have been all the champagne flying about , I must pay 'em to much
Got to admit, but we did drink a bit more than usual, but we had a great time, enjoying life
Quite a few had been to a Status Quo gig before, obviously our sons and their ladies, but the ones that had not, all said can we do this again.
Lovely, makes it all worthwhile , and we will
Status Quo, you've done it again
ps; it was Rhino
