Quo kicked off their short Aquostic tour in Glasgow tonight and it was superb.
The atmosphere was fantastic with loads of Quo oh oh oh chants.
My pal who was with me who quite likes them but isn't a fan per se absolutely loved it, as did the sell out 3000 crowd.
For those going - you'll enjoy it more than cd I feel.
Terry and Gerry were on from half seven to ten past 8.
Quo came on at twenty to nine and the gig finished at ten past ten

You went to the Roundhouse didn't you Cammy? How did it compare to that?
did they play all the songs from the album in the same order?

Thanks Cammy! Please feel free to give us more details. I just checked the "who's going" thread and found that only gary mentioned Glasgow. So, gary, if you read this, we would be very interested in your impressions of the Aquostic gig in Glasgow yesterday.

You went to the Roundhouse didn't you Cammy? How did it compare to that? did they play all the songs from the album in the same order? The Roundhouse was really special as it was the first time they had done this and we had the added excitement of knowing it was live on the radio and bbc red button. Last night was excellent - I really enjoyed it. They played the same set as the Roundhouse in the same order but it didn't matter as I've not seen it loads of times. I had an excellent seat- row c in the stalls, slap bang in the middle. The crowd were well up for it- loads of punters doing the Quo oh oh oh chant at the start and at the encore. The Royal Concert Hall was sold out. As its a seated venue,, everyone was sitting at the start but it was Caroline which got everyone up in stages....when Rick takes over and the lead riff comes in everyone stood up, singing the riff. From then on the crowd were up and down depending on the tempo of the song. The band looked in good spirits. There were one or two wee mistakes here and there- but nothing major. It was a really enjoyable night
