This is from Pete Gill Shona's father....
Dear all,
Call me a name dropper but I have just spoken to Mr Coghlan with regards to Quofest.
It would appear that there was a lot of confusion at the end of the bands set, they walked off stage with every intention of returning (Quo would do the same) they found it unusual that music would be played whilst they were off stage and assumed that people thought they were finished an argument ensued and here we are,,,,,,,unwanted bad feelings.
I have had a long conversation with John he is genuinely upset he did not know BB was Shona's favourite tune and was not fully aware of the charity, he is now. I explained that Shona was a fan of Quo but her love for the band came after John's time so he would not have had knowledge of her or her plight as did the band at the time, it would be the same for Jeff or Leon.
We can not change what happened but we can move on, so please folks lets just do that, history can not be changed.
Let's look forward to Minehead as it looks as if this will be the first time I will see JCQ.

Doesn't explain why everyone had to be cleared from the room mid-charity do, or why another band who had travelled all the way from Norway were refused the use of gear. Their prerogative i guess but it just didn't feel very charitable as Quolibet has already said. There's the apology, let's just hope lessons have been learnt.

I think we all know who's fault it actually was, who threw his toys out of his pram and we can all probably guess what happened.....And we'd probably be pretty much on the money!
We've also seen an apology. An apology which seems to have been accepted!
All done and dusted hopefully!!
Todays newspaper is tomorrows chip paper....:-)
