For about 3 years I have been saying that on their night Quo are unbeatable, but those nights are becoming rarer. Not this year. I went to 3 gigs on the Winter tour and I was astounded at the energy and quality of the performances. My ratings are as follows:
Glasgow 9 Birmingham 8.5 Brighton 9.5
The last one would have been a 10 if it were not for the missing Blue Eyed Lady.

Agree with your comments, spot on.
We went to, Mannheim, Liverpool, Birmingham, Brighton, the sound differed slightly, more keyboards coming through. Missed you at 2 gigs, oh well. Great to see the curtain back on the stage, good stuff.
Scores on the doors,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, 10 for each,,,,,,,,,,, just an old tart really

If you had come in to Buddies with the ladies when you gave them directions, we would have been able to meet at last!

Going by Rhino's tour log, I assume BEL had to be taken out due to Leon's illness. After all he had to sing Alan's parts, which would've been difficult/impossible with a sore throat. A shame for those, who missed out - it was great at the Rosengarten.

I did the hat trick:
Frantic Four. Hammersmith, 28th, 29th March. 9/10 Aquostic.......Roundhouse, 22nd, October..........8/10 Current Quo. O2 Arena, 19th, December.............8/10
Maybe 3 different concerts, but to me it was all Status Quo.

I was at Glasgow and thought it was brilliant.
Hadn't bought tickets since the Quid Pro Quo tour but I thought they were fantastic. Loved the whole evening.
Not sure exactly how many times that I've seen them but I've always left the theatre, the arena or the stadium, feeling as high as a kite.

Did they play more songs from the classic line up this year?

I believe Oh Baby was played regularly, Blue-Eyed Lady should have been part of the set but was sometimes dropped (potentially due to Leon having a cold and not being able to add the second voice), the second part of Railroad was also regularly played as far as I know.

Mat explain why the show had picked up a bit

The very first gigs in Germany had Most Of The Time included as well, but that was dropped again rather quickly (such a shame ) and one gig (Saarbrücken ?) had Juniors Wailing added to the encore.
