Apart from the obvious FF concerts (best I've ever been to, nothing will ever beat them 7 concerts) there have been some quite memorable ones for me.
But here's a quick run through why (apart from them being FF) they were special to me:
Manchester 06.03.13 - The date should be enough - first time in 32 years.
Glasgow 10.03.13 - My meet and greet (best day of my life) and seing Quo in mighty and legendary Glasgow.
London 16.03.13 - First FF gig with my dad, in Quos living room.
Stuttgart 21.03.14 - FF in our living room - who would've ever thought this?
London 28./29.03.14 - It's FF in Hammersmith, what am I supposed to say?
Dublin 12.04.14 - The Final Fling (hopefully not).
Not as quick as I thought, but here we go
- Aalen, Greuthalle, 04.10.2005: My first ever Quo gig, together with my dad. Will never forget this feeling when the lights went down and the drone started. I was literally shaking, I think my heart skipped a few beats...and then Ricky hammered out the intro to Caroline. Only time (apart from Dublin this year) my eyes were quiet wet at a Quo gig.
- Siegen, 26.10.2007: Got Ricks wristband - do I need to tell you more? It spent the night, still soaking wet, on my pillow next to me
- Braunschweig, 14.11.2008: First and only time I got to the first row, I skipped school to be there in time. (quite a long travel to Braunschweig from Stuttgart...)
- London, 13.12.2008: First foreign gig for me. Present for my 18th birthday. One weekend in London and seeing Quo in their hometown on saturday evening with a damn great "seat" - 3rd row in front of Francis. Oh, as we talk about Francis: The last gig (for me) with his ponytail!!! Still miss it...
- Luxemburg, 23.05.2010: Travelled by bus - filled with approx. 50 other Quo fans from all over Germany. What a ride!
- Amsterdam, 21.11.2012: Wanted to see the Quo so badly there. Again, birthday present, this time for my 22nd one. Them Dutch are mad - and that's more than positive.
- London, 22.10.2014: Obvious, isn't it? First time they played acoustically - and what a treat that was. (Stuttgart two days later was great as well, but the Roundhouse gets the nod over it)
Nice to recall some of these gigs. All of my 44 Quo gigs were special in a way and without a doubt great. But these 14 are the standout ones for me.
