It's almost upon us again. The "Feelgood" gig of the year! On Saturday 20th September, Backwater will be supported by Bolton's brilliant R'n'B band, "Unreasonable Behaviour". "U.B" are fronted by the energetic Harry "The Bastard" Ross ably supported by the powerful vocal talent that is Tracy Cole. They cover, amongst others, the likes of George Thorogood and The Destroyers, Wilko Johnston and Dr Feelgood. If their show is anything like last year then they'll blow the roof off the place once again.
Due to the length of the sets, changeover, raffle etc, the show will commence at 6pm through till midnight.
There was a full house last year and interest in this popular event is again already high so advance booking is recommended.
Contact the promoter, Ian McAdam via the Facebook events page here:
We know there are a few people coming who have decided to make the most of the Gold Cup Weekend music at the Cricket Club and have booked accomodation in Prestwick. The following day, Sunday 21'st, the rock continues with the brilliant Rory Gallacher tribute "Sinnerboy" supported by "The Sensational Alex Harvey Experience". What a weekend this will be! We'll obviously be involved in both days so we hope to see you at one or both gigs. Ta!
