To my shame, I'd never heard of Alison Krauss until I watched The Coen Brothers film "O Brother, Where Art Thou"".
Think she's fantastic. Thanks for posting the links.

I first learned of her a few years ago when I saw her CD with Robert Plant advertised. On hearing snippets of a track or two, it took me a nanosecond to decide to buy it ... but as it turns out I'm not overly keen on most of it. Once I delved into her music though, I found much of it so very rewarding to listen to. She's one of my very favourite singers that's for sure.
I've not seen that film either, so will look into that, thanks.

I used to listen to Bob Harris regularly and he played a lot of Alison Krauss with The Union Station. I was keen to hear what her collaboration with Robert Plant would be like and like you, I was a bit disappointed. As for the film, I generally like the Coen Brother's work and I wasn't disappointed with that.
