Who? I hear you asking. Carousel Vertigo are a French/USA band that I saw for the fist time a few years ago in Holland at the Crossed Guitars Fetival. They supported Quo a few years back too. They are managed by Mike Hrano who used to run the FTMO fan club and do the Merch at Quo gigs. They are a four piece. Two guitars and bass and drums. Vincent and Jansen on guitar are a fabulous combo and Vincent does 90% of the vocals. His voice has "RAWK STAR" written all over it. I picked up the "MIGHTY" album at the album launch gig at the Borderline in London on Monday night and I have not stopped playing it. Power riffs, great licks and melody. Check them out on FB and you tube. Stunning band who deserve to be HUGE in my humble opinion.

I remember seeing them at a Quo gig. I was that impressed I bought their cd Carousel Vertigo EP afterwards & got it signed by the lads. Listened to it again in the car today. I can understand why I enjoyed them live. They rock, are melodic, and make ya nod ya head. Making Love Underneath The Apple Tree (track 6 on a 5 track EP  ) was my favourite from the EP (and also the cheesiest ) but I couldn't find that online, so here's a link to the opening track instead, "Get To You", plus a couple of others (incl Mighty) not from the EP: www.carouselvertigo.com/music.aspAnd here's our very own Rhino mucking in ... www.youtube.com/watch?v=mKTFQ0H6P3E
