I'd been feeling a bit rough lately, so I arranged an appointment with the DOCTOR last night in Hitchin and he made FEELGOOD. He gave me an injection of rock 'n' roll and a dose of rhythm and blues. All for £25. Dr. Feelgood band: Vocals/harmonica - Rob Kane Guitar - Gordon Russel Drums - Kevin Morris Bass - Phil Mitchell (not from EastEnders) Set included:

Haven't seen the Feelgoods since the late 70's. But they were always good value. They keep turning up on my playlists as well. Milk & Alcohol is a staple along with Down To The Doctor's and Sneakin' Suspicion. I always remember when their first album came out in mono. Talk about going against convention. Everyone was buying fancy stereos - sorry, hi-fi's - with huge speakers. And this lot bring out a transistor radio

Saw them support the Stranglers a few years back and to be honest I thought they were awful and shouldn't be calling themselves Dr Feelgood. But if someone enjoys this line up then fair enough.

I have no idea who is in the latest line up and even if there are any original members. I saw them with Wilko a couple of times but the last time was with Gypie Mayo who was a very good replacement on record but obviously didn't have the stage persona. Frankly, how could anyone compared to Wilko?
