Both have tickets available, both are accessible to me from my home (in Winchester, Hampshire). But I will be on my own, and don't know which would be best with regards parking and getting to the theatre. I'd rather not be walking around somewhere I don't really know on my own late at night.

Oxford venue is central and is a nice city, plenty of life around so I think it's quite safe. However, parking can be a nightmare in this car unfriendly place - you might get lucky and, as I recall, parking is (or was) free after about 6:30/7:00pm. However, if you want to be sure, I'd say its best to park at one of the out of town park & ride places and get the bus in......it will stop a short walk (1 min max) from the theatre - depending which car park you come from. Sorry but I don't know Bath.

Thanks Dustpipe - I was in Oxford at the end of August and I know there's no car park in the near proximity to the Theatre. What I didn't check on was how late the park and ride buses operate. So if I parked at the park and ride car park nearest the A34 south (I think it's Redbridge) would I be able to catch a bus back there at 11 pm?

Hi, The Oxford show is on a Thursday so the last bus back to Redbridge is at 23:25. They are every 30 mins at that time of night so, obviously, one at 22:55 if you can make it. Hope you have a great night - I've seen them at Oxford Apollo before [Pictures tour] but this time I'm going to Leicester. I last saw them there in 1974, ['Quo tour]

Hi - look on Parkopedia for car parking spaces. This will tell you what is available, max duration, charges and how to pay. I am an IT field engineer, so I travel around a bit. I find this website invaluable. en.parkopedia.co.uk/
