markmorrow1972's Aberdeen gig thread inspired me to start this topic. We've talked about how strange it is, that the album was released this year, yet the corresponding tour is merely to follow next year. For marketing reasons tickets can already be bought though. So I wonder how many of us have already ordered tickets for the Backbone tour or intend to do it asap and will you go to just the one gig or will you do more, considering there's a real chance of a set list overhaul ?

I'll definitely be going to Karlsruhe, which is one of the first gigs here in October. Tickets will be ordered as soon as I know how many we'll be. Depending on the set we might do Strasburg as well, but for that there'll have to be real changes and not just one or two songs and definitely not the same set as this year. Another set list topic looming I feel ..

Glasgow and Cardiff already sorted. Gateshead a probability. So more than 2 is the answer. Would like to do Vienna or Paris again but a combination of finance and/or lethargy might put paid to that. Paris will be seated anyway so maybe we've missed our window for that one. I don't foresee huge changes to the set list. Gave up on that many moons ago. But hopefully there will be some tinkering. Like putting in Backbone songs to replace the Heavy Traffic ones. But breath will not be held

Me and my mate have already bought tickets for Belfast (where he lives) and Berlin (somewhere we both wanted to visit). They didn't originally announce Manchester where I live. I might do Manchester if I have money and any tickets are available nearer the time, but it's only a small venue so it should be sold out.

Got tickets for Hammersmith, but might just go to Oxford now they have added that.

Was thinking about it. Just looked at Ipswich but £111.95 for 2 tickets is a bit steep?

Was thinking about it. Just looked at Ipswich but £111.95 for 2 tickets is a bit steep? With tours now the main source of income for acts it's probably no surprise tickets have become more expensive. Compared to others I'd say though that Quo are still reasonably priced - about the same as over the last 5 years. And I've found smaller ticket agencies to be a little cheaper than the big ones like Eventim ..

Glasgow is virtually sold out- it’s sold very very well Tickets here are selling well too. I noticed the new album and probably the lack of a tour this year has brought an excitement back we haven't seen since Heavy Traffic. If they deliver like they did back then - and going by the way the new songs were played this summer, they will - I ain't complaining .

I've bought my ticket for Bournemouth, but might see if I can get another gig in somewhere! Will have to check the finances after Christmas!

Richie indicated in the latest FTMO that, although he wasn't aware of specifics, he had been told that the tour had sold very well and that many were already sold out. There's nothing on the official website to show one way or the other but there very rarely is. Just have to wait and see I guess. It's hard to see them holding tickets back. The reasons would be beyond me but then again it probably wouldn't surprise me either

Some shows here are already sold out as well. No surprise IMO with no tour last year. People are starved for their Quo fix I dare say . Somehow the band seems to still underestimate their popularity. So get your tickets asap or you might end up empty handed ! .. or the band might add more dates ..

Hang fire. The winter tour might be cancelled due to a worldwide outbreak of contagious dandruff.

Taken from, www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-scotland-52667421 Prof Jason Leitch, the Scottish government's national clinical director, is once again answering listeners' question on Off The Ball. Q: When will I be able to get an antibody test? A: One of the biggest changes over the past 10 days is that there is now a reliable antibody test. We have some in Scotland and we are using them for surveillance. The problem is we still don't know what it means. If you have antibodies in your blood, it means you have created an immune response to the virus, but we don't know if it's lasting, or about the risks of you passing it on. Science will begin to answer those questions. Q: On a scale of 1-10 (10 being definitely), how likely am I to see Status Quo at the Royal Concert Hall in November?A: Four

keep expecting the tour to be cancelled. Yes I have been pondering this..hate the thought of no concerts...booked Leicester...definitely not keen to go there...and Birmingham...with all tickets sold they can’t now lessen the load for social distancing 🥺🥺🥺
