Top notch again from these German giants. Not really a bad song on it. Quite funny that there are some fans on facebook saying it's too light or a bit poppy because of the keyboards. Reminded of the arguments about Quo over the years. However for Rammstein, the keyboards have always been there and never are they overwhelming. It's a great album after a 10 year wait and gives you all you would expect from them.

By coincidence, I grabbed this the other day. It's a cracker. Best since Mutter for me The keyboards tend to fill the sound with Rammstein as opposed to watering it down, which is what I thought it was like when Quo dabbled in the 80's and mid 90's. Light and poppy it isn't! It's just Rammstein. I see the album has entered the iTunes UK chart at no.5. I'm surprised my stepdaughter hasn't been on at me. She's a fan. Although she's been on holiday till yesterday so no doubt I'll get a text saying how 'lightweight' the new Rammstein album is

One thing I did find was that in London places like Fopp were selling the standard CD for £18 which I think is pretty excessive. Luckily I picked it up in Rock Box in Camberley for £8.99.

I downloaded mine from iTunes. I think it was £9.99. So you got a bargain. At least you got a physical product for your money. The review on iTunes calls the album a cross between Faith No More and Franz Ferdinand. Not sure I 100% agree but I like the analogy

Don't have a clue what everybody sees in this band ? They put on a great show, I give them that, but the music does nothing for me and I tend to find the lyrics strange to weird.

I don't understand a single word Although Mein Land, Amerika, Mutter, Rosenrot and Ich Will I sort of get as titles. I just immerse myself in the boot stomping music

My stepdaughter has bought tickets and has asked me and Mrs Mortified to go with her next year to see them. I think it's at Cardiff Stadium next June. Obviously, her mates are less than keen. I'm not THAT naïve I had tickets to go see them in early 2000 and something but I gave them to my brother-in-law. Can't remember why I didn't go. But they've got a little more popular it would seem Might just take her up on the offer

At their recent Moscow gig two of the guys kissed on stage to make a statement against that Russian homophobic witch hunt.
