Thought I'd sing the praises a bit for this chappie and his band. Mark Tremonti erstwhile guitarist (and some time singer) with Alter Bridge.
I much prefer his solo stuff if I'm honest. I'm not the biggest Alter Bridge fan. He has a cracking voice and is a superb guitar player. This is off their new album.

Alter Bridge are one of those bands I keep meaning to check out, mainly because I like Myles Kennedys voice when he sings with Slash.
I have seen Myles has got a solo album out as well. Have you heard it?

craydarr, the album is a bit heavier in general than the track I've put up here. So maybe this song is not absolutely representative of it. Myles Kennedy's solo album is a bit of a departure from Alter Bridge. I've only skipped through the album but it sounds mostly acoustic. He has an amazing voice but, for some reason, I find I seem to get fed up with it very quickly. So when I listen to Alter Bridge, I usually find two tracks that I really like and leave it at that.

Thanks for that mortified . I know what you mean about a voice grating, although I don't have that with Myles. I will try and check both albums
