Having seen Quo several times, I'd love to see the acoustic tour too and I'd be interested to hear anyone"s thoughts if they've actually attended one. Having checked,it would appear that it would involve a trip to Germany with nothing scheduled for the UK.
Is anyone aware of anything planned for the UK or when/if they're actually going to be touring the UK next year in any form be it acoustic or electric?
I notice the schedule looks to be mostly european next year apart from the odd festival.

The electric dates Quo are currently doing in the UK were originally to be Acoustic but they got changed to electric about six months ago. I was lucky to see one of their few acoustic dates in Inverness in the summer. I don’t they they will do any more acoustic dates after Germany in the next week or two

I guess it's all a matter of taste but, for me, the Roundhouse gig was magical. Most memorable for me in a long time. Every word of every song sung by an adoring crowd. I didn't manage to catch too many more. A mixture of personal circumstance and finance. The only other two I attended were Union Chapel last year, which was basically a Hyde Park rehearsal, and Barcelona in June. Both were great fun. But I think that boat has now sailed, certainly in the UK. If you manage to get to one, you'll enjoy it if you're a Quo fan. Trust me

I'd just echo what mortified has said. If you are able to go to one, go. I've only been to one (Glasgow) and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Probably enjoyed it more than some of the last electric shows that I've been to recently to be honest.
Aquostic is a novelty which has short shelf life and it's about to expire. I think.

I've seen them twice play acoustically. First was their second ever acoustic gig at the sold out HM-Schleyerhalle in Stuttgart. I loved every minute of it. Second was at the Hammersmith Odeon during the last acoustic tour. We had seats far back, view was restricted and the fact it was all seated didn't exactly help the atmosphere either. Even while everybody did get up sooner or later you were somewhat restricted - I'm simply not used to all seated venues and don't like them. This winter we're going to see them at Festspielhaus Baden-Baden. I'm so looking forward to it ! I'll start an own thread for the acoustic tour including the venues, the way we've had in previous years.

I've seen Quo 140 times over the past 40 years & I went to the 1st Aquostic tour in Sheffield. They were really good & it actually surprised me how musically & technically good they were. Quo have never been given any praise for this side of their music. it was an excellent show & very professionally done!
