I have to do this one, but if Rossi left the band, would it still be SQ ? given that some still claim it to be SQ without Rick, So easy for you all, a simple Yes or NO is all that is required, I don't want reasoning/excuses etc, I have heard all the "its his band he can do what he wants"/ he is the frontman etc etc,, all meaningless excuses as far as I am concerned,,, so all i want is a simple yes or no,, now surely that's not too hard is it ?! no response/non voting will speak volumes And just to clarify, for me, I would say the same if it was Parfitt with no Rossi

With Francis still there, they can get away with calling it Quo.
If Francis had died and Rick was still there, they could get away with calling it Quo.
If Francis died or left now, they shouldn't continue as Quo. They might, but in my opinion they shouldn't.
I think my reasoning is important, because I'm saying it would still have been Quo if Rick was still there without Francis. But, it won't be Quo without both of them!

I've said 'no' for the same reasons as I Ain't Complaining
Had Rick still been there, I'd have said the opposite.
That's actually quite harsh on guys like Rhino and Andy because they've been there so long but, to be fair, they wouldn't want to carry it on. And because of the way the band has been marketed since 1986 (Rick & Francis, crossed guitars, all that) the rest of them are more or less anonymous in the public eye. Which they might well be thankful for. But they have no marketing value.

What about 'Status Quo - The Next Generation' ? The thought my yet to be born grandkids could actually go see 'Quo' belt out those same songs (I doubt there'd be many set changes.. ) in 20 or 30 year's time is actually a nice one. Pass on our love for the band and its music (if not the personnel) to yet another generation.

Francis CAN'T leave the band - he IS Status Quo.
