I know, many fans see the string of albums from 71 to 76 as faultless and close to perfection - not me though. As I only became a fan with WSOL I had to acquire those previously released albums some time during the late 70s and the Quo album came as the first major disappointment to me. I just didn't like most of it - the songs, the sound, Alan's voice on record ..
As skipping wasn't exactly easy with vinyl records I rarely ever listened to it or rather to the three songs I did love. It's down to two these days as I've somehow fallen out of love with BTR - probably because of the live version. The two songs I listen to, I really love - that's Fine Fine Fine and Slow Train (which, when played in full or as near as, would make a perfect closer for the encore IMVHO)
So lots of votes from me in consequence ..

I’m not really a fan of this album.
Don’t particularly care for the sound, or many of the songs either.
If I was listening to this in the car, or anywhere else for that matter, there’s only four songs that I’d listen to all the way through.
Might be prudent to leave it at that and not vote!
I know it’s not on the album but I love Lonely Night which was recorded as part of Quo recording?

When Break The Rules was released in May '74, Lonely Night, the B side of the single, was more popular then The A side, on the jukebox in the local pub, a great track. It's only Fine, Fine, Fine I skip

It's only when everybody, whether they like the album or not casts their votes, that we can measure the overall popularity realistically. I've voted for most songs too, as I'm not much of a fan of this album either. I didn't include b-sides or bonus tracks from the start as not everybody has them and they didn't belong to the original album anyway. I'm aware some great songs and fan favourites are neglected this way, but they'd be material for another poll. @inna - It's quite simple actually. We already have done album polls for all of the albums voting for the songs we like, the positives so to speak. To distinguish which poll is which from the title without having to open the threads, I've added a minus in brackets to express that it's the negatives we're voting for this time.

I do love this album, but the first skippers since MKGS are here.
Break The Rules and Fine Fine Fine
BTR is maybe the first Quo by numbers
FFF is twee.
On vinyl, hard to skip these two, but now, almost always
It is a magnificent album though

You're right, there's not much point in participating in a poll if I don't actually vote in it. And it's wise keeping to the original track listing, especially when you consider some of the bonus tracks that are available on some of the reissues. Those will keep for another time and another poll. Again, this thread just highlights that we all have different tastes when it comes to the band. Personally, I like Fine Fine Fine but I appreciate that this song is not popular with many. A while ago, I posted a clip from YouTube of the guy from Roxette playing Don't Think It Matters. He's a Quo fan, apparently.

First and last tracks on the album are two of Quo's finest.
Backwater takes me straight back to the reunion gigs at Hammersmith, blistering solo leading back into that booming rhythm and then AL growling 'Backwater Doctor..............' pure joy.
Slow Train contains 30 seconds of the best music ever written, from circa 2 minutes to 2 minutes 30 seconds. The rest is brilliant but that section gives me goosebumps every time.........
The rest of the album does very little for me. Just Take Me and Drifting Away are nigh on unbearable to my ears. Why JTM gets lumped together with Backwater I'll never know. Like putting Leo Messi up front with Andy Carroll. One is sublime genius, the other a useless donkey.

Have to be honest, I've voted 'none', and cant quite believe there were only 2 votes registered on that before mine. Whenever I think of 'tracks you would skip' on all albums from MKGS - NTL, I always seem to change me mind when playing the albums straight through in regular order, even now... call me blinkered if you like, but out of 50 years, '70-'81 was the cream Imo, (plus Spring '13/'14 of course!)

For the fourth album running, zero. Zip. Zilch. By the way, I'm basing my votes for these albums on how I listened to them when they first came out. Over familiarity will always play a part after 40-odd years. My least favourite - Drifting Away - is still a mighty beast of a runaway juggernaut. Over-fuzzed for sure but still a belter. So I never skipped it back in the day. And if it wasn't for Forty Five Hundred Times on the previous album, I reckon Slow Train could well have become the true anthem to the faithful. I also agree about Lonely Night. A very fine track and one that I grew to love even more after I'd heard it on CD for the first time because I hadn't played in about two decades before that! Pure country by any other name but we have to whisper that Incidentally, a little bit of trivia here. The album cover was the only Quo sleeve to make it into any music paper poll annual top ten for best record cover. It made no.10 I think in Sounds in 1974. Being a Quo nut at 17, I tend to remember these things

Hm, obviously it's not just me. Overall this album seems to be a lot less popular than its predecessors and successor. I expected the IMO wonderful FFF to get contradicting reactions, but even the outstanding ST has acquired a vote ..

The last two tracks have the worst sound IMO. But even then Slow Train is a great song, I just wish it sounded less noisy.
I don't tend to skip tracks but Drifting Away is one of my least favourite Quo tracks. The vocal parts just annoy me. The instrumental parts are pretty cool, though.
