That moderator at the start is about as 80s as it gets. You'd not expect him to like Quo .. Alan offers an explanation why they stop touring, ive - is he a blatant liar then as well ? Actually I think they all are - in as much as they tell lies why they stop. IMO Alan comes across as not really knowing why and Francis offers an 'alternative' explanation. But then they couldn't have said 'we don't get along any more ..'

Loved the Crystal Palace gig. It lashed down. Never forget Little Steven being absolutely bombarded by bottles all through his set. It's fair to say he never bonded with the Quo Army. Chas and Dave and Phil Lynott went down a storm

Alan offers an explanation why they stop touring, ive - is he a blatant liar then as well ? No. not at all, as what he said there was what he believed to be the case at that time, little did he realise he was about to be utterly betrayed and stabbed in the back by his former best pal,, only ONE band member knew at that time what the real intention was, I wonder who that was then ?! It's not about believing, but about what they intended to do. Obviously as soon as Live Aid happened Alan and Rick intended to continue as a band as normal and that includes to tour again. Live Aid made a big difference and in consequence they changed their minds. Understandably so, they had good reasons. Francis didn't want to be in the band anymore, that was his original intention. He thought that was the only way to not having to work with Alan any longer. Live Aid did change things for him too - we all know about the record deal. And Francis was and is allowed to change his mind too ..
