Well without me even looking at the rest of the tracks, this is without doubt for me Are You Growing Tired Of My Love and A.N.Other.
The A.N.Other is by quite a margin You're Just What I Was Looking For Today. Fabulous throughout, but the intro is even better.

Easy for me here: Make Me Stay A Bit Longer and Technicolour Dreams. I'd actually never vote for Are You Growing Tired .. knowing how much the band hated it, when they were told to record it and how to sing.

Tad patronising, but I guess it was a different era

Technicolor Dreams and Growing Tired - simply for the keyboards on the latter Same for me here again. Not sure about the keyboards, though... I could have easily picked six out of six here. I'm often drawn in if a keyboard is played at the beginning of a track, there's something so beautiful to it's sound... and this track has some poignant lyrics too... I love 'how can I know just what goes on in your mind if you always walk away' - actually, I might make that my tagline  :lolflg:

An advantage of not knowing about this kind of stuff though is I can vote for it cos I love it, and being blindly ignorant of the fact that they don't ... so I'll now try and erase your post from my brain in preparation of the next round :lolflg:

It's a genre Quo do so very well, but sadly Public Joe only knows them for the du du-duh du-duh du-duh etc ...

Tad patronising, but I guess it was a different era That was its other title (Hey Little Woman) when it was released in 1981 on the Fresh Quota album (and later as a bonus track on Spare Parts) :lolflg:
It was one of Carole King and her then hubby Gerry Goffin's creations. I can't see anyone else has recorded it, so I can only assume they wrote it for PYE Records (guessing here though) who Quo were then with. I don't imagine it would've been written in a negative way (the lyrics then go on to read him calling her his silver lining).
I've just read Goffin died June this year age 75 and she wrote a nice tribute (if Wiki's ok to go by) - her and another tribute: On hearing of his death, King said that Goffin was her "first love" and had a "profound impact" on her life." She went on to say, "His words expressed what so many people were feeling but didn’t know how to say... Gerry was a good man and a dynamic force, whose words and creative influence will resonate for generations to come." Barry Goldberg, who wrote many later songs with Goffin, said "Gerry was one of the greatest lyricists of all time and my true soul brother".

I did not know that! Good to get some interesting little snippets about these kind of things - I just assumed it was Quo who wrote it - thanks for that!
