One of the first, if not the first album that featured just Francis and Rick on the cover as opposed to the whole band. A feature that was to be repeated on numerous occasions in the future.
Overall, I like this album. I like the sound and I like most of the songs.
To be honest, I don't listen to this all that often, or any music really but if I were to put this on, I think I could listen to all of it except Can't Give You More and Tommy.
I've always been a bit sceptical re why CGYM was re-recorded and included on this album. I don't buy the whole Perrier thing and I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised if it was a PR stunt dreamed up by SP. Much like that Quo were involved in a "near miss" (near hit?) involving one of the first flights during the RTYD four gigs in a day event. Perhaps Perrier did want this and perhaps I'm just being too cynical.
Tommy. I think Tommy is dross and to have recorded it once was bad enough but to have recorded it a second time beggars belief. In my opinion, either version is abysmal, I don't think it has any redeeming features whatsoever. Having said that, the very last note of it is the best bit of the whole song.
I think Warning Shot is brilliant! I also think the lyrics are outstanding. Love this song actually.
I think it was kursaal75 who first said that he thought the album version on here of Forty Five Hundred Times is superior to the one on Hello. I agree. If I were to listen to a version of this song, then this is the one that I'd opt for too.

..
That's a good observation here. And I guess the reason is David Walker, as after the commercial failure of PR he appeared on the scene and one of the things he did change was put the focus on R+P. I wonder how the others felt about it at the time .. ? On the other hand none of them featured on TW and all of them on DS, but it definitely was a sign of things to come. Or you could say it merely reflected what was common practise in interviews anyway.

Funnily enough I really like BIOH and LWT, great versions to me. No problems and Nothings comes easy, I like both of them two. Is there any Quo song that nobody likes, in their full catalogue? I am not a fan of Tomy, but I do not skip it. I skip fame or money. I've yet to find anyone with a good word to say about Restless but I dare say there's some lunatic out there I don't like Tommy or Tommy's in Love, but I don't mind Restless or Mystery Island.

Haven't played it for quite a while. I could play it without skipping a track because of this.

I'll even listen to Tommy. This is a great Quo album. a little heavy on covers, but I do think the updated 4500 Times outstrips the Hello version (that will upset someone I'm sure)

Haven't played it for quite a while. I could play it without skipping a track because of this. So you should vote 'none' then

It’s the same song but with different lyrics. I can’t remember why he did this Probably trying to get some money!!

Hate Good Sign. The beginning just makes me cringe as RP is just plain out of tune and the first sign that his vocals were starting to get shot to pieces. It’s so bad even auto tuning couldn’t sort it. I am not a hater of Tommy as most are, as I like the guitar melody.
4500 I could play this version over and over again (and do) and not get bored

Overall it's obvious Tommy is the main obstacle for the 'none' option for not having received more votes. Otherwise the album's very popular obviously - and deservedly so (if I may say so).

With the clear winner Tommy I'll move this to the past cups section now. On the other hand a quarter out of all voters don't mind it, obviously ..
