Cd bootlegs

Sorry, I merely own a handful of bootlegs, so I can't be of much help.
Mareno's site used to provide a lot of stuff (I got the 1982 rehearsals from there), but I don't know if it's still up. He hasn't been posting on a mb for a long time (since the official one closed I think ?).

There isn't what you'd call a retail outlet for bootlegs. They tend to just be handed from person to person these days. Record fairs used to deal in them. Not sure now.

"You Tube" isn't a bad place to get stuff if you can utilise the 'You Tube Converter' to download them to mp3 but mine's seems to have stopped working "for my territory" whatever that means. Maybe someone has put a stop to it. I tended to use it for songs that I couldn't get anywhere else and that had never been released on CD. Obscure singles, that sort of thing.

You're best off looking around the internet or finding someone to trade with.

There's another site that I come across that has the original London Paris Theatre gig on there before it was "remastered/ruined" on the BBC release, along with Stuttgart and the Roundhouse SDB (soundaboard.blogspot.co.uk/2008/05/status-quo-paris-theater-london-1973.html)

A few still work though, mainly ones that are on dropbox...

I've just checked Birmingham 1977 (Rockers Rollin') and Madrid 1975... those are working links.

The best place on the net to get Quo bootlegs is the Deep Purple hub.There must be at least 400 on there as well as many from other classic rock bands.Just search for the deep purple hub and register. They don't take kindly to people grabbing lots of stuff without posting anything in return though.Even if you don't have any boots there are still many ways in which you can contribute. Check it out and have fun.

Not spoken to him in a while, but when I did he seemed to be doing fine... we mainly spent most of our time just trying to get working links for his website again
