I am turning 45 this summer (next week) and I belive that it also was a good shift for the harder and live Quo that year..?   Always a favourite this video, great energy and power :-) |

I was too young for Quo back then and without older siblings I merely got into them with WSOL. So I obviously missed out on some great gigs. Great video though, the energy, the determination .. and doesn't Francis look yummy !  I still love Paper Plane to this day, including the acoustic version, but have to admit I'm a little bit fed up with DWMT. It's good that it's given a rest from the live set IMO. |

Also a great of Paper Plane version from TOTP 2002 where the almost are ahed (faster) of the 1972 version..?

What I really love about Paper Plane these days is, how it has turned into an audience participation song. Very obvious on the Roundhouse video. It sounds great and you can tell how much the band enjoys it too.
I just love this song in all its versions ! Rick looks so happy about the reaction they get ..
If only Most OF The Time, the other wonderful audience participation tune, wasn't dropped once and for all. I remember they played it at the very first gig after the FF tour too - Dresden I think ? - but obviously weren't happy with the audience reaction. Such a shame and they never gave it a second chance.

Mr Rossi would now dismiss that first video as something he never really liked or wanted to be. Yeah, right.  Completely iconic and the best live band that have ever existed. That is 100% awesome. To use an Americanism. Love it. |
