Can't remember when I first heard it, but I liked it straight away. Melodic Quo at its best, tempo changes included - something that has sadly become rare these days. IMO usually, when Francis and Andy are writing together, something good comes off it.

Never 100% sure about this one. That 'staccato' type guitar at the start and during the main verses I'm not struck on. Its something Francis has introduced into some of his compositions over the years. Its OK. The other track on the single was much, much better for me.

That would explain why I love that song as well - including the lyrics - 'Got to keep your nose clan, got to keep your underwear dry ..' that's just hilarious  And it has beautiful harmonies too: So no idea if there are similarities apart from the quality and I don't care either - I simply love both ! |
