I put together all the songs from the VHS release to create the Glasgow & Birmingham set lists minus Let's Work Together and In The Army... I also used audio from the Birmingham '89 gig to replace Chris Tarrant and the 'Penguin Crew'... Enjoy **I apologise for what Youtube has done to the audio by compressing it. If you would like a copy of it let me know**

As I had drifted off Quo in the 80s I wasn't aware this event was happening even. Merely saw the pics when I bought the album. The strength of that though made me go see them live again later in '91.
Were there any fans who went to more than one gig during the event I wonder :oo: ?
..and wasn't there speculation back then where they were going to play for the next anniversary in 25 years time ? If, only Rick was still there, they'd surely have gone for something spectacular (if not quite as demanding ..) again.

Glasgow Setlist; DOWN DOWN ROLD LITTLE LADY LETS WORK TOGETHER BURNING BRIDGES MEDLEY WYW ITAN RAOTW
Birmingham Setlist; DOWN DOWN ROLD LITTLE LADY LETS WORK TOGETHER BURNING BRIDGES MEDLEY WYW ITAN RAOTW
Wembley Setlist; WYW PAPER PLANE ROLD MEDLEY RAIN ITAN BURNING BRIDGES RAOTW WALTZ/BBJ
Does anyone know if the Sheffield set was the same as the Wembley set? There seems to be a pattern but I'm sure in the background of Chris Tarrant talking you can hear Caroline at one point

According to FM set list (and we know how unreliable that can be), it states that the Sheffield set list, Was The same as, Glasgow & Birmingham.

Just before the leave to go on stage Rick says "I'm ****ing glad you said that.. I'm preparing to go *Whatever You Want intro*" Rossi does mention Caroline before Rick does the WYW intro... It's the only setlist you don't see throughout the video. I somewhat prefer the 2nd version of the documentary song wise.. There was Paper Plane from Sheffield a while back

I was at the Wembley leg Of The event. My sister got the tickets at London's Capital Radio for £6 each.

No, they did came back on with the bloke from The Guinness Book Of Records, Noris, Mcsomething, to be handed certificate's. I did hear later, that a This Is Your Life, had been organised after the Wembley gig, but Quo's management, cancelled it.

I went to Sheffield. I'm 99% sure that Can't Give You More was in our set (Ive might be able to back that up if he was there). I don't think we had 'Let's Work Together' but could be wrong. I can't remember the rest of it, but might have it at home somewhere (I used to keep records back then)!
One of the guys from the Penguin crew still goes to gigs (always says hi to me). The quiet one on the footage. Saw him at Leeds in December.

Can't Give You More wasn't in the set cause the Sheffield set was exactly the same as Wembley and Glasgow and Birmingham shared the same set. The setlists pop up every now and again on the documentary

I only knew of the Glasgow boot... cause that's the only gig from the day "circulating" on bootleg sites

I can do it for you, if you want to...

I still haven't checked if I wrote the setlist down.....but I really thought they played Can't Give You More at Sheffield. If they played Let's Work Together (from the RTYD album) at 2 of the gis, would it not make sense to replace it with another track from the album? Ive, get listening to the Sheffield bootleg and give us a definitive answer!

Ive, get listening to the Sheffield bootleg and give us a definitive answer! I will, all my bootlegs are in the loft, so its quite an expedition to get to them, but I have to go up to the loft anyway to give Snakelady details of the 79 recordings I have, so will dig out all of the RTYD day bootlegs at the same time In your own time. I was only joking.

Whatever You Want Paper Plane Roll Over Lay Down Mystery Song Medley Rain The Price of Love RAOTW Anniversary Waltz Rock n Roll Music Bye Bye Johnny I wrote Down Down after RAOTW then crossed it out?? Note; it's not quite the same as the Wembley set. I've got them as playing the Price of Love instead of Let's Work Together (so I was wrong about Can't Give You More). Hopefully Ive can confirm if this is right or not if he's able to find and play his bootlegs from the tour.

Out of all the great RTYD songs, why oh why did they have to choose the cover that is Let's Work Together .. *SIGH* Can't Give You More would've been a cover as well, but at least one of their own songs (and the better song IMO).

I'm not sure on that choice... It was the only time they played it live cause when they did the RTYD tour, they played; Like A Zombie, No Problems, Fakin' The Blues, Rock 'Til You Drop and One Man Band
