Picked this up yesterday. Not sure if anyone is aware but its one for the anoraks - like me. As far as I'm aware, this is the first time the Milton Keynes Medley has been released on CD. It took me by complete surprise. A new compilation. I suspect that it will be available for download when the new boxed vinyls come out and also why its on CD but I was delighted when I saw it! The military mix of In The Army Now is also on the compilation for anyone who never picked up the German CD single.

Yep I got this last week. Doesn't the Milton Keynes medley sound awesome? It's a long time since I played my 12" of ITAN, but I'm pretty sure that this has been remixed or remastered? It sounds amazing. I'm hoping that it means the whole of the Milton Keynes show will receive the same treatment, but I won't be holding my breath...
Oh of course! Yes these tracks will have been remastered for the upcoming vinyl box. Isn't there going to be an album of b-sides & remixes? These will be taken from that.

That was my first thought when I saw it. You tend to get codes for downloading the vinyl albums when you buy them so it is probably now more easily available. I think these vinyls have been remastered (not 100% sure) but, to be honest, having only ever heard the original 12" vinyl of the medley or the video playback (and neither for many, many years!), I suspect it'll sound as awesome as it ever has now its on CD.

From what I heard, Andy Pearce did the mastering again. Loved his work except for the last three deluxe edition, which were too compressed for my liking.
