Enjoyed watching that too, wish I could speak German. Always enjoy seeing footage from backstage and from the bus. Wonder if that's the tv thing that Leon was referring to in his Tweet last week?

Entertaining .. and proof I'm not the only fan who can't sing :lolflg: Sandwiches and alcohol free beer (due to age) in the fridge, when at home Francis is homesick for the tour bus and he loves white tennis socks - well, we knew that already .. One fan saw Quo aged 4 for the first time so had to be there for the last time too and the other guy says it won't be Status Quo anymore as an acoustic band. smokie - this spot shows them filming an acoustic clip for another show on the telly. It is not mentioned which one and whether they played more songs than just HYB. So I assume it's that show Leon was talking about. Who told Francis though this red waistcoat would look good ??? ??

snakelady Leon hasn't tweeted anything else about the tv recording but that probably was it. That red waistcoat will never be a winning look

Obviously hired local "background artists" to cover the string section and backing vocals. Krombacher Alcohol Frei? I always preferred Clausthaller. Do Veltins produce a low alcohol pilsner? It could account for Schalke's slow start to the season if they don't! (Oberhausen is only a stone's throw from the Veltins' arena) . PS and only slightly related; Basti's back!!

Not on topic .. but nice to have another footie fan on here. Maybe there's now enough interest to stage another CL competition for the knock out stages .. On the other hand - I'm not a beer drinker - cocktails for me please Sommer-Drink - so can't comment which one is better. If it has to be a beer, I opt for a Kölsch or Alt.

Have you ever been to the Veltins Arena then? It's not only for playing football matches these days, they also have huge open air gigs and do fun & game shows for TV there. OK we're slightly off topic (sorry Admin). No Inna I haven't (too new for my time in the area) but spent many a happy Saturday afternoon on the Nordcurve at Parkstadion. I sometimes catch a biathlon event from there on Eurosport. Are those alcopops on the right? I thought only us Brits were daft enough for that!
