One of the best I don't know, but it's a good track. I like it.

dreadful, awful vocals, constrained, typical Lancaster-track.

dreadful, awful vocals, constrained, typical Lancaster-track. Would you had liked it if Rossi had written it and sung lead on it ?,, just out of interest.

Yeah pretty rubbish. Sounds like a precursor to 80s hair metal. "YOU'RE DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!". Dreadful.

Written for a (biker) film apparently, that never got made. One of the best tracks on the album for me. That was The Wild Ones I think. A remake of the 50's movie of the same name starring Marlon Brando. As for Over The Edge, its an absolute belter and the last great track (for me) that Alan contributed to any Quo album. For some reason, they never seemed to be able to recreate the sheer power of it live.

It's OK, I quite like it. Yep it's 80s 'hair metal' - but it were the 80s. Better than most everything he had written before it and for a long time IMO. Best 80s song from Alan was The Wild Ones though. (and yep, that's the one from the film)
