I have never given his songs a chance to be honest. Just listened to that and to me it is OK, just OK.
I went to see him at a little theatre in Tring near where I live. It was interesting to see him outside of Quo and being his own man. Unfortunately the attendance that night was rather poor but I was impressed with his band, and also impressed that Rhino still gave it a good shot at putting a show on despite the poor turn out. He went up in my estimation, but of course I am an old school Quo fan so you know where I am in Quo terms.
