Today I've been listening mostly to these Welsh nutters. One of my fave bands of the 70's and early 80's. And this is a gem.

I was a never a fan of Oasis, or any of the brothers but I do love this. Reminds me of Plastic Bertrand's Ca Plan Pour Moi, or something. Love it
I have his first album and am looking forward to this one on the strength of this track.
I know the Gallagher Bros do come across as a couple of wotsits but I do like a character.
Noel is a cracking songwriter imho.
Thanks for posting.

Noel's second album is actually better than his first; by quite a bit in my view. But this new one, from what I've heard so far, is shaping up to be even better. Don't ignore Liam's latest either. It's pretty good. And he has a better voice

And that's one of the best albums of all time - not a single skip track, but California my favourite along with Martha's Madman.

I used to like Sweet a lot.
This is one of the greatest female voices and always good lyrics as well:
And an 80s favourite of mine:

Can I just butt in here and say that I loathe Tracy Chapman? Oh no, wait a minute; I'm getting this wrong. It was Joan Armatrading I didn't like. Her voice made me wince. But Thompson Twins; well, now you're talking. I loved 'em. Still got three of their albums on me iPod.
