bam You don't like Ring f A Change ?! How do you do that...hightlight/hyperlink someone's name?? Or Rain?? Definitely not Rain. I've done circa 100 Quo concerts over the last three decades so I've heard it, a lot. I tend not to like what I'd define as the 'heavier' side of Quo eg ROLD, JTM, ITABW, DDMC, Drifting Away, etc, and of course Rain. Appreciate I'm in the minority with a fair few of those but it wouldn't do if we were all the same. Ring of Change is a newer one on me. I might grow to like it but for now it's not doing it for me I'm afraid. I too am one of those, who approach Quo from the melodic side and I don't like Rain or ITABW on BFY either (or the title song, Rolling Home or Ease Your Mind), but I really do enjoy That's A Fact, Mad About The Boy, Mystery Song and Ring Of A Change, which is one of my all time favourite Quo songs.

Well I want the cd for sure. First listen to this (the title track and opening single, hence presumably seen by Quo management as a strong contender for best on the album?) track though, says to me that next to no effort has been put into at all. Strummety strummety strum strum strum. Some of the first album I thought were blinkin' awful. Some I like a lot. Fingers crossed the same will apply in the second album; though the first category is already one up.

Is There A Better Way? Yes, stop Raining. Some might be surprised to see :vrm: in that list.

It's still a real Quo song from 1976, and I like this aquostic verson too. Never mind if it's pop or something else, they actually did that stuff back then too (same album as Rain and Mystery song). And that's the strenght of Quo as I prefer them... www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztE8CvQ0qU4

Now THAT'S bloody good. Lovely and raw. 2nd best from (a poor) BFY, imo. Some aquostic I do, but not the aquostic version of this.
