Back to the topic.
I would go and see an Aquostic (I still think that's an annoying title) tour because I do like the album and I thought the Roundhouse thing was brilliant.
However, overall, I still think I prefer my SQ loud and turned up to 11.
One of my pals from secondary school is a Quo fan too but he fell out of love with the band during the late 80s and early 90s but I received a text from him today (re The Roundhouse) "the more I heard, the more I liked".
I was surprised about that as he was definitely a FF type of fan.

Sorry, not a chance. As an avid collector i actually feel quite dirty buying the collectors items of the album and contributing towards it becoming a success. To the point i'm considering stopping collecting altogether and selling up then i'm not tempted again. This isn't why i became a Status Quo fan. I've nothing against them trying something new, i just hope it's a one-off and not a repeat of the 90's and the constant covers albums. I appreciate people on here might not like this post but i ain't gonna say how wonderful i found it when, well, to be honest, i didn't like it very much. I do keep trying the album to see if it grows on me but so far no luck. ah go on ya big tart, you`ll be there if only to have a hug n slaaaap from loz.!!! :lolflg:

I don't know anything about touring production costs, so forgive me if this sounds naive: On the one hand additional musicians would mean higher costs, but what about the technical equipment? No wall of deathly amplifiers, a much simpler lightning system: wouldn't that on the other hand reduce costs? They would know which venues to play... learning, for example, from how the theatre does it. Derek Jacobi playing King Lear in London or Glasgow's theatre (amongst others) was outstanding. The acoustics of the hall carry the sound without the need of massive deathly amplifiers... it could definitely work with an Aquostic tour (loving the guitar, Kathrin ). To answer the question(s) - Yes, and I'd definitely go

Personally it is my favourite album since the album that had 'The Oriental' on it (sorry my memory isn't that good)...in fact I have had it on in the car non stop for over a week now and not got fed up of it (which is rare for me). I don't think all the songs work but the ones that do are really good and I like the sound and feel of the whole thing. As someone who has been saying they should do this album for the last ten years i'm not disappointed after the long wait. Each to his own and all that matey.....
