I no longer know what to think. I don't know how it's transmitted; I don't know how I or anyone else is going to pay their bills in a month or two's time; I don't know anyone that's tested positive (yet); I don't know what the rising, negative stats we get day on day actually mean because there is no comparative model on which to reach a conclusion; but worst of all, I haven't a clue how to cancel BT Sports One of life's great mysteries. A mystery that is costing me a monthly sum that I can now ill afford and which is for absolutely nothing because there is no sport on. You can't do it online, you can only do it over the phone. Can you get through? Can you fvck. And because it's linked to my broadband service I can't just cancel the bank order. Bandits I do now. A girl I used to work beside (I say 'girl' but she must be 50 by now) is in isolation in hospital in Edinburgh and on a ventilator. A precaution I think, although I'm not 100% sure. Her son went on a school trip to Northern Italy a couple of months ago. Guess what he brought back as a prezzie for his mum?

You know it's bad Billy (worse than anything we've ever seen) when the Tory Government are borrowing billions of pounds to pay everyone's wages to stay at home for a month (at least)! Anyway, not to get too deep into politics and viruses on a Friday/Saturday....I didn't get tickets for Francis talk show this time (went to one last year and couldn't really afford it this time). I might try and go next year. I should be able to afford it and it'll be 2 years since we went last time. How do you think the 'question thing' worked? We didn't submit any questions, but we were really disappointed with the ones that were chosen/asked. But I read Francis say somewhere that he was disappointed with the questions! Was he just saying that? Who chose the questions? Would he really have liked more challenging questions? I'm sure plenty of longstanding Quo fans would love to ask him loads of questions....but he wouldn't really attempt to answer them in that sort of setting, would he! So what's the truth? Where's the middle ground?

Where's the middle ground? The questions thing, I thought, was just a bit of fun rather than anything in depth, which Francis probably feels is what the show (and the book) was about. We're certainly not going to get much washing of dirty linen on a public forum like that. Not from someone like Francis anyway. I had my question read out and simply joked "did he have the tour bus to himself?" I'd seen it parked outside and thought, why does he need all that? He took it to mean something entirely different, which I will not go into here for fear of offence .
